How to play WuWadle
WuWadle is a free daily Wordle-style game for Wuthering Waves. Every day at 2:15am Pacific, new puzzles drop, one per mode. No signup, nothing locked. Your progress saves in your browser, so you can do one, close the tab, and come back later to finish the rest.
Mode 1
Classic: guess the Resonator by attributes
Type any Resonator and you get six tiles per guess: Rarity, Attribute, Weapon, Gender, Region, Version. Green is a match, yellow is close, red is off. The Version tile checks patch numbers: yellow if you're in the right major version, plus an arrow pointing toward the answer's patch.
Guesses: you get 5 slots. Hints unlock after 2 and 3 wrong guesses and reveal one unsolved attribute, but each one eats a slot from the same pool.
The Rover rule:Rover's Attribute shows as Multiple. Throw Rover at a Spectro, Havoc, or Aero answer and you get a partial on the Attribute tile, since those are Rover's own forms. Rover is never the answer though.
Mode 2
Weapon: name the 5-star weapon from a zoomed icon
You get a 5-star weapon icon zoomed way in. Every wrong guess pulls back a step and drops three chips under your guess: weapon type, release version with an arrow, and how you get it (Limited, Standard, Collab, or Quest). 5 guesses.
Hard mode:on by default, it shows the icon in grayscale so the colors can't give it away. You can flip it off whenever, but guessing with it off drops your hard mode credit for the round.
Mode 3
Banner: name the Resonator from convene art
You get a zoomed-in slice of a 5-star's convene art, on a random spot that changes every day. Guess wrong and the camera pulls back a step, until the whole thing is showing. 5 guesses.
Only 5-stars show up as answers, so the list is shorter than Classic. Look for a weapon, an outfit color, or some background to place them before the art opens up.
Mode 4
Forte: name the Resonator from their skill icon
You get one Resonator's Forte skill icon on a dark plate, then guess with the same six tiles as Classic: Rarity, Attribute, Weapon, Gender, Region, Version. The glyph is a bonus tell if you know your Fortes; the tiles do the rest. 6 guesses, no hints.
Every Resonator has a Forte, 4-star and 5-star, so the answer pool is the full roster (Rover aside, who is never the answer).
Mode 5
Quote: name the Resonator from a voice line
You get one of a Resonator's voice lines on a card, tagged with what kind of line it is, then guess with the same six tiles as Classic: Rarity, Attribute, Weapon, Gender, Region, Version. The line is the flavor tell; the tiles do the sorting. 6 guesses, no hints.
Audio:there's no hint button, but after 3 wrong guesses a play button unlocks so you can hear the line in the Resonator's own voice, when the wiki has a clip for them. It's a late lifeline, not a first-guess crutch.
