Mode 02 guide · Quick read
WuWadle Weapon guide
A guide to the zoomed weapon icon: reading the crop before the pull-back, and what the three feedback chips tell you.
How Weapon mode works
A 5-star weapon icon appears zoomed to 6x. Each wrong guess pulls the camera back a step (6x down to about 1.4x on your last guess), and every miss also drops three feedback chips under your guess: weapon type, release version with an arrow, and how the weapon is acquired. Six guesses, then the icon reveals.
Strategy
- 01
Read material and palette first
At 6x you mostly see texture. Rectifier plates, broadblade edges, and pistol grips all read differently even in a tight crop, and the chips confirm or kill your type theory after one guess.
- 02
Chips beat pixels
The version chip's arrow cuts the pool by release window, and the acquisition chip splits limited convene weapons from standard pool ones. Two misses with good chip spread usually narrow the answer to two or three candidates.
- 03
Hard mode hides color, not shape
Grayscale is on by default and removes the palette read, which is the strongest single clue on several signature weapons. Toggling it off between guesses is free, but a guess submitted with it off drops the round's hard mode credit.
Tips
- Six guesses. The last one gets you close to the full icon.
- The dropdown blurs its icons on purpose, so no window shopping.
- Hard mode resets to on every day. It is cosmetic and never encoded in share links.
